In Gray Iron :

• Addition rate of 0.2-0.3% in pouring ladle
• Effective in forming type A graphite even as low S levels
• Good chill reduction even in thin sections

In Ductile Iron :

• Addition rate of 0.2-0.5% in pouring ladle
• Produces high nodule counts
• Effectively controls carbide formation in thin sections
• Ensures  good nodularity at extended pouring times
