Silicon Carbide Bricks are designed to add silicon and carbon to iron melted in a cupola. These bricks provide deoxidation and improve melt rate. They are typically bonded with cement. Miller can customize the amount of silicon carbide in the bricks to maximize efficiency and cost in your operation.

G-Flux Bricks use titanium dioxide to coat the lining of the cupola to decrease wear and increase the lining life.
Modified bricks can use materials from the list above with a change in the binder. When we use a different binder we can provide bricks to be used in electric melt applications.
