Company history

Established in 1919 as a distributor of pig iron and metallurgical coke in the Midwestern U.S., Miller has grown into one of the most diversified suppliers of raw materials to the ferrous foundry and steel industry in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Rosemont Office

Miller and Company LLC’s corporate headquarters is located in Rosemont, IL.  This office houses our Executive functions, Product/Market Group, Sales Administration, Accounting, Data Processing, and Market Center Operations.

Port Western Processing Facility

Opened in October 1998, this leased facility replaced our Birmingham Processing Operation after over 20 years of operation. Port Western, located in Mulga, Alabama processes Milco carbon products, silicon carbide, and metallurgical briquettes. In addition, this facility serves as a general warehouse and distribution center for multiple products.

Seneca Processing Facility

Owned by Miller and Company, this facility opened in January 2005 for the processing of Milco carbon products and it replaced our Seneca ITI Tolling Facility. The production of metallurgical briquettes and processing of silicon carbide began in 2007. In addition, this facility serves as a general warehouse and distribution center for multiple products.
