|
MG1 alloy contains a low amount of magnesium. This alloy can be used by foundries desiring a boost in the Magnesium level at the pouring line resulting from fade. Magnesium recoveries will typically be in excess of 70%. The presence of calcium and silicon provides for inoculation and graphitization of the treated item.
